Spent exactly 20 seconds here, was driven away by the rudeness of the staff. I had just visited Mike & Greg's, a wonderful shop across the parking lot with fine antiques, and had made a purchase, so I was carrying a small bag. I walked into 57th Street Antiques and rather than welcoming me into the store, the employee screeched at me "you can't shop here if you have a bag!" So I immediately left. The store looked promising, but the disrespect ending my interest. If you're going to treat customers like thieves, expect to lose business! Shame on you, 57th Street Antiques.

Hi Barb! Yes, there are a few shops besides ours in the complex and we have a free map of local antique shops. Right now our mall has about 80 dealers so it's the perfect spot for treasure hunting! As for restaurants, we have Evan's Kitchen in our complex, Mimosa House down the street, along with several other close-by eateries which serve wine and would be perfect for a friend reunion! We look forward to seeing you soon!

To all that keep asking if Antique stores do appraisal? No they don't! Reason being u would have people coming in all day asking how old their items are And what they are worth? Antique stores are a business they are there to sell. We have an Antique store and people drive up by the car load and have cars full of stuff. if we appraised everyone's stuff it would take all day. I sell under the free way as well. no one iv know in 30 years appraises. Auctions u have to have something real rare for them to even give u an appointment. If its china, teacups, mirrors, they aren't really looking for those iteams. Now if u have a real Tiffany Studio lamp? they might appraise it with a fee attached. The best thing to do is go on EBay. Do ur homework. u cant find it than find something close. Remember just because u have something old doesn't mean its worth money. I hope this helps those who are trying to find someone to appraise?
