First tour of this kind and boy was I pleased. Pat our your guide was nothing short of knowledgeable and funny! It's a beautiful experience and one that I'm glad I chose. Emeka our bus driver was also really sweet and got us there safely. I would highly recommend them, plus they are eco-friendly. The animals know their kind and almost look for them. 5 stars for sure 🌟

Alligators do not hibernate, they brumate. Instead, as the temperatures drop and it becomes too cold for them to be out in the open, they fall into dormancy. They dig a "gator hole" beside the waterway to provide shelter in the event of bad weather. They literally dig tunnels in the mud to sleep in, and when they emerge from the gator hole, other creatures move in and take up residence in the region. It's difficult to estimate how long these gators will slumber in the tunnels, but once the weather warms up, they'll emerge from their brumation. Because of the colder waters and living habitats, alligators also slow down during the winter months.
The best ways to get around New Orleans are on foot and by public transportation. The city's neighborhoods are very compact, making them perfect for strolling sightseers. If you don't feel like walking, hop on one of the famous streetcars. Another option is cycling. Since New Orleans is flat, it’s easy to get around by bike. Also, to get into the city from the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) you can take the Airport Shuttle. The shuttle services the downtown and uptown districts as well as the French Quarter. Taxis are also available,Uber and Lyft are also widely available. You can also check out our sister company, Audubon Limousine, for private transportation and airport pickup/dropoff.

Comfortable, casual, & water-resistant clothes. Since our tours are approximately two hours out on the water on a boat, we cannot guarantee that you will stay 100% dry the whole tour so it’s best to wear something you don’t mind getting wet. All of our boats beside the VIP small boat are covered and will provide protection. If you are attending our night swamp tour, bringing a lightweight jacket is a good idea because the temperature does drop later in the evening, especially out on the water once the boat is moving.
Hi! 8.30am to 9:45 AM or early evening tours are recommended if you want to view the wetlands at its most beautiful time of day. The light in the early morning and evening has warmer tones than the light in the middle of the day. Furthermore, these periods do not have the sharp, full light or full shade contrast of midday, making photography considerably easier.

We do not. We tour Laura and Oak Alley.
Yes we can accommodate electric wheelchairs
They feed the alligators protein pellets. If they didn't feed the alligators then they would not come out near the boat. They would likely not come out where they can be seen at all. Let's be honest here. People who pay to go on a swamp tour want to see the alligators. So trying to make pets? No just making a Great Swamp Tour!
You can find out the same way I do. Google Cajun Encounters or look it up on their website. This is 2018. Why are you asking a question like this when you probably own a smart phone?
I think that it was around $40 bur i remember thinking that it was worth it
