Service was great, but the food was bad, over cooked and dry, all of it - the chicken, the shrimp (almost burnt) and the steak. The seasonal fruit was not ripe, it was hard. We had not been there for a long while, we went hoping it was better..... not so good.

Takeout isn't so great. I ordered 2 biscuits and a bowl of gravy to go with it a while back. Biscuits weren't fluffy, and I only received a very small cup of gravy. I knew that wasn't right, but I let it go. Ordered the same thing on my more recent order. I received the correct amount of gravy this time, but I didn't even know it was possible for biscuits to be so rock hard. I was careful about eating them because I didn't want to break a tooth. I won't be ordering takeout from Bob Evans anymore.

Food is inconsistent including sizes. When we called about our sausage gravy being a cup and not a bowl we were told that it is off by 2oz. That’s fine and all but we paid for the bowl. When we went to pick up the bowl it was clearly written on the cup it was the 12oz and as we suspected we had gotten the smaller cup originally. You didn’t have to scribble on the cup like a teenager. I felt like we were ordering from a fast food place and not a restaurant.

My wife and I love this place. Always good food, this time I had the pot roast dipper, and she had the turkey dinner. My sandwich was great, would of cross cut it though. My wife was happy with hers as well. Turkey dinner is always good here - my wife. Our server Elena was great, on point with refills.
