I'm not one to normally write a poor review about a place but I want to save others the trouble. I have emailed three different people in the Robert Half office in Hauppauge, NY, and cannot get a single response back. When I first called, I was given the email of a woman, for privacy purposes, lets call her X. At first, X was responsive and we had set up a call that she then postponed by a half hour and then she never called. When I emailed her to follow-up, she never responded. A couple of days go by and I call the front desk again, explained the situation and asked for another person to email. The woman at the front desk didn't seem that surprised by my experience with X (that should've been my first clue). I emailed the next person she pointed me towards, lets call her Y. After a few days, I hadn't heard back from Y so I re-forwarded the email to her and I got back and automated message saying to email someone else. Being desperate enough to email yet a third person from this office (lets call her Z) I send her the same email and resume I've been sending the other two women only for that email to be sent back to me. I'm aware that nothing is going to come from writing a bad review on the internet but I'm absolutely appalled by the lack of response from the Robert Half office. I understand that it's hard out there in the job market, or maybe my resume didn't fit any of the positions they had in their rolodex but to not get any response? That's just unprofessional.

Sent in resumes to various divisions and heard nothing for weeks, well past the company's own self reported time period for maintaining active applications. Then out of the blue I receive an email from one of them. When I inquire about the delay, they claim they actually took my email off of the unused applications from another division (contradicting their first email when they referenced my application to their division). They're either liars or incompetent/mismanaged, either way there's no way I would trust them with my employment.

Worst "Recruiting" Firm ever. They call you in to have interviews with them...and then never find you a job. I met with 3 people on 3 separate occasions and nothing ever came of it. Worst of all, someone told me "you are paid too much for what you do." 1) I live on Long Island 2) I've made this at 2 different jobs and 3) that is not your place to say. You find me a job, don't decide that I don't get paid enough. These people are a waste of time and it sucks because most of the postings on Long Island and through them and I never want to deal with them again.

Not very helpful. Went there 2 months ago and they still have not been able to find anything for me. Obviously I have moved on. Quite disappointed.
