Took a drive around this game lands as per the travel map put out by PGC. This game land seems to get a lot of hunting and hiking, which is good. After driving around this game land I have come to the conclusion that All the deer I did see was on private and posted land adjacent to the game lands. I didn't see as much trash laying around like I do at some game lands in the state I've been to. I came across a gentleman who had a pleasant disposition, we did get to talk about half hour or so, he was a local. He told me how the game lands have changed over the last 10 to 15 years, I hear this a lot. We as hunters and people who enjoy the outdoors need to start and attend PGC meetings open to the public and voice our opinion. Unless you have a relative or friend with access to land, we as public hunters need to start making sure our license fees and taxes are going to manage these lands out license have paid for.

Lots of porkypine and places to walk. Not much else anymore. They have really mismanaged this area in the last 10 years. All those fields just going to waste no corn or soybeans.

What type of game is in the state game lands in Bloomsburg

The state stocks lots of pheasants. More than I've seen anywhere else. All small game. Turkey's are kinda sparse but are there. Deer hunting is quite good, esp early season. With 4500 acres I like it cause you can walk for days on roads and trails
