Beautiful location for every season. I got engaged here in the summer and then took engagement photos in the winter when the falls were frozen. The downside is that parking is very limited and there is pretty much just one trail up to the falls and back, albeit a nice little hidden gem of a trail!

Nice day at the falls. Bring some old shoes or water socks for the rocks in the water. Doing this will save your feet

A beautiful secluded spot, probably popular with local kids, but deserted when I visited. There is limited parking right at the beginning of the trail, and it's only a short walk (quarter mile) to a variety of rapids and the falls …

Easy walk from parking to the falls. Kids loved the rocks and the falls were pleasant. Only complaint is the amount of trash and broken glass around the falls. But still a great day hike for the family

Yes butta no diving off the cliffs! Swim at your own risk!
If you park at the bottom of the trail, it's actually just a short walk, I wouldn't even consider it a true walk, not very steep, but can be muddy.
Although there is a wide path between the lower and upper parking areas along the creek it has railroad tie steps in a few areas. The fun of buttermilk is scrambling down the rocks to the water.
No you can't jump if you do your probably going to get hurt just like the two who jumped in June.
No but you can climb over the rocks and walk down. It's been pretty dry so not much rushing water. It probably would be great with more water but when I was there it was low, but still pretty.
Yeah pretty much. Depends how busy it is, but we haven't had any problems.
It's at least 10 foot deep
