They were booking a few weeks out, so I scheduled for a Friday afternoon. After reading the reviews noting scheduling issues, I called 4 days before to confirm my appointment. Then, I called the day before and confirmed my appointment again. They told me that the crew would be on site for my chimney cleaning and inspection on Friday afternoon. So Friday rolls around and I take ETO from work so that I can be there for the chimney folks. No call, no show. I called the office around 3:30 to ask what was going on, and they said they could be showing up any time up until 6:00PM! In the real world, any time between Noon and 6:00PM is not an "afternoon appointment." When I communicated this, their response was, "I don't know, let me call the crew to see where they are, and I'll call you back." They never called back. So I sat and waited at my house until 6:00PM and was late to a family birthday party as a result. No call, no show. The following day (Saturday) I'm home and I get a call from a random number saying "Hey this is Chimney Champs we'll be there in 45 minutes." So whatever, I decide to let them do their thing. They show up, perform the work, and ask me for the check. I specifically asked, "Ok, so you've swept and inspected my chimney. Is it safe to use?" They assured me that... "Yes, it is safe to use." Throughout this whole time there is a huge hole for a wood stove pipe in the face of the chimney, above the fireplace. After they left, I shined a flashlight through this hole and could see light coming out in the fireplace. The wood stove thimble and the fireplace were in the same flue. If I would've started a fire, the smoke would've come right into the living room. Not only that, but I reached my hand into the thimble and could feel broken and missing flue tiles right there. Needless to say, I wasted my time and money on their "cleaning and inspection" and I will be needing a new chimney liner. Guess who won't be installing that for me!

I really don’t even know where to begin with chimney chumps. I was told to give a $550 deposit for a project which I did and they charged me $1100, pulled a no show and won’t return the $$ I reached out to the owner chuck the duck and he refuses to answer me. I also agree with all these other ⭐️ reviews, this company is out to get people 100% BUYER BEWARE!!!!

I had the company come to my house and give me an estimate for some work and it was a very reasonable price and the guys were very respectable so I'm sure if you call them they could come give you a free quote

If you call for a 99$ chimney sweep and ask them to do that while they are there they will clean it for you.
