I planned this stop for a break during a 3 1/2 hour car ride to southern IL. My 3-year-old son loved the park which was clean and had plenty to keep him entertained before and after a snack break. Downside was that the pool was closed which also meant the restrooms were closed. We migrated across the park, and over the bridge, to the open pit toilets.

Three different play areas for children. Public pools. Tennis courts in decent shape. Baseball fields are good. Bathrooms are in GREAT condition. Lake is beautiful.
