In town for the night. One reason we stopped in Burney was so we could bowl. It was league night (but it didn't start for over an hour) so they wouldn't let us bowl. They said they had to oil the lanes...which they didn't start doing for an hour. The three of us could easily have rolled a game in time. Grrr. Sat in the bar and drank and ate instead. Bartender was great! Cold beers. Decent food. Bathroom smelled sooooo bad! The front entrance/lobby is a mess. A couples hours of work and they could clean it up and make it much more appealing. The regular crowd made for very interesting people watching. Did I mention how awful the bathroom was? Had I gone to the bathroom before we ate I might not have ordered food. BUT mad props to our bartender. She was the best part of the place.

Very small local business. Friendly from the moment that we walked in the door, they have a bar area as well as a kitchen area. I did notice that all of the crew members that work there partake in helping out in any area that they are needed. Whether it was running the front cash register running the bar maintaining the lanes or preparing the food. Fun little hangout spot with about 10 lanes and great tasting drinks.

Questions & Answers

how much does it cost per bowling lane.

Per lane or per game? I think it's $5 for the first game if you rent shoes and $3 for every game after that.

What are the best days to bowl? Can you just walk in?

During the fall/winter, there are leagues monday mornings, and Tuesday and Thursday nights (7-10:30). With any bowling alley its best to call ahead and find out, especially small houses. Most of their money comes from leagues and they try to stuff as many in as possible. On some smaller leagues they may let you bowl on the side, particularly if you don't have children or large groups.
