I was baptized in 2016. The members of this church have really done quite a lot to help me out with so many things. They have paid my rent when Section 8 didn't come through for me, helped move me to another location and paid my deposit. Even when my landlord didn't fix my plumbing, a nice couple paid out of their own pocket to repair it! The church has fed me when my car broke down and even arranged to get counseling for me! It's so much more than just going to church on Sunday! Yes, it's not a perfect place. Because it's made up of lots of different people who are not perfect themselves. BUT I have really received more good than bad in the long term. I think they really have my best interests at heart for the long run and want what's best for me. I live alone and they're really all I have going for me. I have a lot of medical problems. So if it wasn't for the church I would really be in deep trouble. I have made arrangements so that if I die, one of the church members can get access to the remainder of my bank account and help place my dog in a good home. I figure this will help smooth out her transition and cover some vet bills and buy her some toys and treats while she's learning to adjust to her new family without me! I'm not going to touch on the spiritual principals here. BUT if anything I have said is interesting to you, it's easy to get a missionary or someone in our church to contact you so you can learn more about us!

I have been a member of this congregation for 20 years now and love the people I worship and serve with as we help each other follow the teachings of Jesus.

Yes. Saturday night Priesthood session and Sunday sessions will be broadcast at the Lakefield Dr. chapel in Greensboro.
Tuesday evening at 7 pm is when the Youth groups meet for their activities. Wednesday at 7 pm is for Spanish speaking Youth activities.
Sunday, from 9:30 to 11:30 am is the normal meeting time. Also, Tuesday evening from 7-8 pm. There are normally people working in the geneology library. The Pinetop Rd. chapel has a larger geneology library, as well.
Our services at Lakefield are Sunday mornings at 9am, followed by an hour of Sunday school and an hour of women's and men's auxiliaries. There are no evening services at this particular building, but other wards in our area have meetings in the afternoon and late afternoon.
