Food was awful, and in a parking lot! Not at all what we expected! Especially after paying $77 for food that was terrible

This place is really nice. It's fun, there's a wide variety of movies. My only problems it that there are not to many spots, and the screen is a little too low. If your in the back though, your close to the snack bar and you can move your chairs closer to the screen. It's over all really good.

Such a cool hidden gem in Plymouth! When we pulled in, I admit feeling a bit sketched out by the parking lot and the cones and the police van idling by the entrance. Luckily for me, my husband had already purchased tickets so we decided to try it out and see. The movie quality is great but more than that the in-house beer garden is phenomenal. Cute, yummy frozen cocktails mixed with Asian-inspured pub food (wagyu hot dogs and umami tots) are pricey but delicious and, honestly, what movie experience *doesn't* include overpriced food? The nachos, in particular, are a MUST TRY. Before the movie, we enjoyed our food and played lawn games in their spacious seating area. They played bop after bop over the speakers and the staff was so nice and genuine, it really felt like going to a fun, backyard bbq hosted by the coolest person you know. During the movie, we snuggled in the car and ate the rest of our snacks. If you're looking for a great date night or a fun family outing, this is definitely a winner.

Not a positive experience for us last night. We had 2 cars with 1 adult and 2 children each. We got there 1 1/2 hours before the show and were in the 3rd to last row in the middle. We could not see more than 1/2-1/4 of the screen over all of the suvs and trucks in front of us. This screen is almost at ground level which is ridiculous for a drive in. The kids ended up just running around and drawing because they could barely see the movie. Additionally, there were 2 staff members who came over 2x to tell us we had to lower our trucks. Firstly, with my cross over suv trunk up, it was not even close to the height of the numerous pick up trucks around us. Secondly, no one offered assistance in how we could lower the height of our trunks so that the kids could still lay in there. They were both very abrupt and rude. We ended up just closing both trunks and leaving. The lovely patrons around us were all laughing at the ridiculousness of the request and the rudeness of the staff. We unfortunately will not be returning.

Absolutely! We love dogs! We just ask that they don't disturb other guests and don't leave any droppings behind! Let us know you have a dog and we'll buy them a drink (of water!)

Will you be showing newly released movies, like Lightyear and the Minions movie?

Hi David - Car passes are $30 each for movie nights, but we do host a variety of different day time and evening events with unique ticket prices. We recommend visiting our website at moonrisecinemas.com where you can find specific details on each event.
