Lots of info and artifacts! Been here several times. Plan on a whole day if you want to read and enjoy everything 🙂

Great museum for its size. The area with the retro drug store was very detailed and felt like a step back in time. There were also a couple of sections in the NC history portion that felt the same, namely the textile mill. This is definitely worth a visit, I would plan for a little extra time to dig into some of the exhibits.

Kids always love it. Lots to see and the 3D theater is nice and very fair priced.

Questions & Answers

Do you need tickets for admission and, if so, can they be ordered on line? In view of limitation in numbers allowed into the museum, how can we be assured ofd admission?

No it is free.

Are there any job openings within the museum system? I’m interested in moving to Raleigh and would like to work there.

See if they have a website that might list employment opportunities.
