I had PT for my knee pain with Aditi Chandra and that was absolutely the best decision. She is patient, caring, professional and very passionate about what she does. I have gone to PT in other places and seeing Aditi at Longfellow health center was a different experience and a great one. I would recommend her very highly without any reservation for PT.

Aditi is the absolute BEST! Both myself and my fiance go to her (him for a sports injury, me for a herniated disc/sciatica). She is hands down the most attentive, kind hearted practitioner I've ever worked with. She's great on a personal level, but as a physical therapist she gives extremely individualized, 1 to 1 treatment and is flexible with your needs! She genuinely cares if her patients get better and she has made a huge difference in both of our physical health! Standing or walking through a single store used to be a painful challenge, but now I can go through an entire Ikea or walk around my town with little to no issue! Her staff are also really helpful and scheduling apppointments is super easy! As her patient, you also have access to the health club for gym and pool exercises when needed, and there's a jacuzzi which is great for after stretching. 10/10 would recommend her to anyone looking to improve their health!

Aditi has been just amazing at helping me with first a shoulder injury and now a hip injury. She is patient and inventive and always finds a way to drill down and work on whatever needs help. Access to the club is really helpful. The pool is small but in a good way and there is a jacuzzi, which is really helpful before or after stretching.

Great experience with Aditi. Can't recommend her enough! She was quite open and communicative with my problems, and offered a bevy of solutions for me to work on getting better. She was patient and easy to work with. She also responded lickety split to an email follow-up question. Top notch!

Your first visit will last approximately one hour and will include a comprehensive evaluation and applicable treatment administered by a licensed physical therapist. Your physical therapist will review your medical history, diagnostic tests and any recent events that may have contributed to your current condition. Your evaluation will include assessment of your current functional deficits, pain level and posture, as well as a thorough evaluation of your flexibility, strength, balance and endurance. Physical therapy is not covered for exercise alone without a "diagnosis". However, many sources of pain may be valid "diagnoses" for physical therapy to be prescribed to help with your joint pain. We could assess the nature of the pain and create a program that may help you to strengthen and return to exercise. Furthermore, exercise in a pool may help you to move without pain by eliminating the compression created by gravity and body weight when exercising on land. We can help design a custom aquatic exercise program for you to do independently or offer one -on-one aquatic physical therapy here in our deep water salt-based pool for you to be able to perform exercise comfortably and progress gradually.
Your shoulder's range of motion becomes limited. Any shoulder movement causes pain, and your range of motion starts to becomes limited while your shoulder becomes stiffer, and using it becomes more difficult.

Unfortunately, rehabilitating injury rarely happens overnight. Each type of tissue injury has parameters of how long healing typically takes. In post-surgical cases, the surgeon may dictate how soon before a patient can begin to perform new tasks. In order to safely resume function with newly repaired joints, for example, therapy can take weeks or months. When multiple concurrent problems and/or other health concerns such as cardiovascular disease or diabetes, the body sometimes doesn't recover as quickly. Your physical therapist at Longfellow Holistic Health Center can work with you to determine a length of treatment program that will be best for you.
Physical therapy is a process to improve your function. In order to gain strength and mobility, practicing one's exercises is often necessary to make these improvements. Depending upon one's condition and fitness level, some people have soreness after movement. Your physical therapist needs your feedback to determine whether the "soreness" is mild, comparable to that experienced with after light to moderate exercise versus "pain". Physical therapy should not cause pain. Your physical therapist can work with you (and your doctor) to make modifications and be sure that you are only taught exercises that are safe and appropriate for you

Longfellow Holistic Health Center has three types of care which may each help relieve some forms of headaches. If you are terrified of the water, the decision may be made to avoid this medium.
Back pain can be a debilitating problem. Careful, thorough musculoskeletal evaluation by a physical therapist can determine if muscle imbalance, poor body mechanics or postural problems are contributing to your pain. Then a PT treatment program of exercise and education to help correct these issues may help decrease pain. “Hands-on” interventions by a physical therapist or massage therapist can also aid in decreasing muscle spasms, stress and improving circulation for faster healing. Acupuncture has also been proven to resolve back pain in many people and can be an effective method on its own or in conjunction with other therapies
Commonly people have physical therapy to rehabilitate an injury two to three days a week. However, after your one-on-one evaluation, your needs, including the frequency of care will be discussed with your PT and the frequency of care determined to suit your needs with PT only weekly or monthly if appropriate.
