Henry is clearly knowledgeable and very thorough in his inspection as well as in following up to review the report with clear explanations and recommendations. I would highly recommend his services!

Greatest thing we ever did was calling Henry. So knowledgeable and trustworthy. My husband and I recently bought a house and wanted to get it inspected for mold due to a musty smell. Being sensitive to mold and immune compromised we didn't want to take any chances. Let's just say Henry opened my husband's eyes to a world he wasn't familiar with or believed in. Being how handy my husband is he's always sceptical of others but not with Henry. We both trust and value Henry's opinion. Most importantly, Henry saved me many months of allergy like symptoms. Henry is so knowledgeable in mold and the health problems it can cause. I finally found someone who understands. From the thorough inspection to reviewing his findings followed by the air sample report and any additional questions after, we couldn't ask for anything more. Very professional and full of knowledge. We will be using Henry again.

Henry showed up on time and even squeezed me into his busy schedule because my family was heading on our vacation. He has been super helpful through out this entire experience. If I were to ever need any more testing done I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Questions & Answers

Is it possible for mold to go unnoticed in our home?

Gary Robinson | Aug 10, 2022
Mold Testing NJ-NY | Aug 10, 2022

Elevated Mold spores in the air can go unnoticed in homes without any evidence, just because you do not see mold, does not mean that the mold spores in the air are not elevated, that is what you breathe in/out. Undetected mold can continue reproducing and growing, potentially causing health concerns along the way. Mold testing in NJ enables a homeowner to determine whether mold is present in the home as well as what type of mold exists.

Why would mold be growing in my home?

Gary Robinson | Jun 11, 2022
Mold Testing NJ-NY | Jun 11, 2022

Mold is present because of wet conditions, pervasive dampness, or elevated humidity. While certainly, this means that mold is more common in humid, wet areas of the country, it can exist anywhere water damage has occurred. Our mold testing services enable a homeowner to determine whether mold is present in the home, as well as what type of mold exists. While we're based in Bergen County, we also serve the Hudson, Passaic, Morris, Essex, and Union counties.

How do you detect water & moisture in the home?

Gary Robinson | Jun 11, 2022
Mold Testing NJ-NY | Jun 11, 2022

During our Bergen County NJ mold inspections, we scan the walls and ceilings with an InfraRed Thermal Imaging camera as a guide for suspected water or moisture, and then utilize two different moisture meters for areas of suspected moisture or water at the time of the inspection. Areas may have water or moisture marks but not be elevated or wet at the time of the inspection (e.g. past leak). These areas are prone to mold and sampling is recommended.

At Mold Testing NJ-NY, we are familiar with the types of mold that exist in the area. Should I have a Remediation Company do my mold inspection?

Gary Robinson | Sep 9, 2021
Mold Testing NJ-NY | Oct 14, 2021

To keep everything above board it can be in the homeowner’s best interest to hire a mold inspection service separate from remediation. This way there is an unbiased report of what does or does not need to be eliminated and no lines have been blurred. In the event there ever is mold detected, the chosen remediator may appreciate not having you ever doubt her or his intentions.
