My daughter primarily studies dance at another studio, but I inquired about a tumbling class because it is not offered at her current studio. She loves tumbling and would like to keep improving her skills and acquiring new skills. I should also mention that her current studio does not participate in dance competitions of any kind. After sending an e-mail inquiry, I was contacted by telephone by the owner of the studio. My daughter was so excited to learn she might be able to take tumbling there. Unfortunately, the owner of the studio told me that my daughter would not be allowed to take a tumbling class there because she primarily dances at another studio. Therefore, she would be training someone else's dancer who might compete with her own girls. I was appalled and angered by this response. I was not shopping around for the best tumbling class. I am looking for ANY tumbling class. My daughter's studio does NOT compete. So she will NEVER compete with GDT dancers. NEVER. For a dance educator to deny a young dancer an opportunity to improve her skills for this reason is frankly gross. If a young person wants to take class at 5 different studios, who cares? Good for them! If GDT was the last operational dance studio in town, I would still never give them my business.

We’ve been here for 7 years and wear our GDT pride on our sleeves. Caring professionals who are genuinely interested in the development of the children. Extremely creative dances that showcase the talented dancers’ skills. Definitely a second home for our family.

This is difficult to answer here. Rates can vary depending on which classes/companies you want to participate in (can be as few as one). They are based on age and/or experience level, and style of dance you or your child wish to take. Companies also have auditions (the auditions are free).

It's not. But she does not go there anymore. It's still a great dance studio.
