If you care about your family member, do NOT take them to Upstate Vet. We were referred to them by MedVet in Asheville. My dog needed surgery. THEY KNEW THAT! I called them before we left and asked if their surgeon had seen her file and xray. I was told he was on call to just come on down and they'd get us taken care of. We drove two and a half hours to their facility. They made us wait SIX HOURS!!! My dog was anemic and they had the temperature in the facility VERY low. For SIX HOURS she laid on the cold hard floor shivering waiting to be seen. After six hours a nurse came into the room and told me that they made a mistake and they couldn't do anything for her and we should leave. THEY DID NOTHING!!! AND FOR SIX HOURS DID NOTHING!!! Other patients there waited as long or longer without being seen. THEIR FACILITY IS A DISGRACE!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR LOVED ONE THERE!!!!!

This is an animal emergency room and depends on the care your pet needs they do accept care credit and if you don't have that healthcare card it is easy to apply for and they can help you apply I do hope your dog will be alright
$100 for appointment, excluding additional treatment/care required following examination
They have no payment plan and if you are not approved for the Credit they will not help your pet. My dog was poisoned they told me it was going to be $800-1200+ and he was outside peeing blood and they did absolutely nothing. I told them I did not have that and could they do a payment plan and they said no if I wasn't approved for the credit they would not see him. So to me they told me to bring him home and watch him die. That shows more interest in the $$$$$ than the welfare of your pet. I will never reccomend them to anyone.
I took my puppy and they charged me $413 to be seen to give him fluids and to give him a test for parvo and they tried to hospitalize him and wanted to charge $3,000 to do that for him to stay 2 days.... Also not only that we was sitting there for a total of 7 or 8 hours and my puppy was only seen 2 hours out of all that time...
You can make appointments.
