I was at Wall Lumber today 8/16 and as usual the staff was excellent. I have been going there for years and they always have what I need. I'm about two hours away and wish I could go every week. Brad and Brock are very helpful and they have excellent products.

Great place, nice staff, excellent selection, and reasonable prices. In this part of NC there are only a couple good places to get specialty lumbers and this is one of them. Go here if you're looking for rough lumber in many domestic varieties and exotics. They also have thinner dimensioned wood for smaller projects and often there are live edge slabs available too. I have not personally used any of it, but they have a nice selection of specialty plywoods with various premium wood faces too. So if you want that mahogany desk, but can't stomach the cost, they might have a solution.

I've been ordering bundles of cherry, walnut and maple for a couple of years now. Excellent prices, great quality boards, fast shipment, and terrific customer service. I just wish I lived close enough to Wall Lumber to go there in person.
