It was a good experience for my son, but I felt that the Manhattan and Brooklyn ones offer a little bit more. This is good for at least an hour.

Paid $10 a person also my 2yr old grandson was charged this price. This price was not worth it. I expected a totally different experience than legos, sticks, arts and crafts and a play mat area. Basically things you can do at home. This museum needs someone to come in and create a better experience that includes technology as well as discovery. Take your child to the mall or just stay home and take out your Legos.

More like an activity center than a museum. There were no exhibits but several interactive stations for kids to build with blocks, create with art supplies and play ping pong.

Questions & Answers

How old can children be allowed to enter and join in, by parents/legal guardian?

Children of any age are welcome here as long as they are accompanied by an adult. There is a toddler area (Toddler Beach) for 36 months and under, that is all padded and gated in so they are safe. Children of any age can interact with all of the exhibits, and there are playworkers assigned to each gallery to interact with the children and help them engage with the materials.

Is it comparable to Stepping Stones Museum of Norwalk CT? We have been to stepping stones museum and please touch museum in philly and wondering if this one is worth to visit? Most reviews quote this museum as too small. My kid is 2yr 4months.

It's very small. I haven't been to either that you've mentioned but this museum is quite small. It's an amazing place to spend a few hours. We absolutely love it. Amazing staff and such open ended fun. It's at Rye Playland so there's an amusement park, pool, beach, mini golf, ice skating and tiki bar. You can definitely make it isn't a day trip.
