My process started with Servpro in October of 2021. We weren't able to get anyone out until January of 2022. Nevertheless, we stayed with them because we understood the labor shortage played a factor in turnaround times. Remediation was completed in Jan. The next process was for the rebuild side of things. It took FOREVERRRRR to began that process. All the while, the turnover with project managers was ridiculous! Every week there was a new person to contact. After doing several walk-throughs with the different PMs, we finally began the rebuild in April. That's right, from January to April, there was no work completed. Even after all of this, we were patient, but our insurance provider was not. Because of the length of time with no work being completed, our insurance provider dropped us. This meant we had to find another carrier and an increased premium was enforced as well. The packout of furniture was decent upon move out. The move back in resulted in a dent in my wall and broken items that were not disclosed and purposely hidden. The duration of the project was spent in the rebuild (construction) phase. This phase lasted longer than expected. We ended up having to extend our time away from the house about another week out. Thankfully, the place was able to accommodate. During the rebuild phase, some of our furniture as well as other important items was moved to the deck (outside/no cover) and was rained on which resulted in damage to my wooden kitchen table. Additionally, while removing the damaged wood flooring, an employee was too lazy to remove 4 screws from the dishwasher to pull it out which resulted in a dented/damaged door on our brand new dishwasher. That employee chose not to make us aware of those damages as well. When I called the office, they already knew....but, no one ever thought to alert the homeowners. After chasing people down and several emails/meetings/calls later, we were reimbursed (invoice credit) for these damaged items. The craftsmanship of the staining of the wooden floors and painting was mediocre in some areas. There were a number of things that needed to be addressed at punchout time. Overall, it was a rush job (stain on the baseboards, indentions on the baseboard from paint that hadn't completely dried, gaps in wood flooring). We finally closed out our project in July of 2022. A project that took almost 10 months to complete could have been done in one month. Overall, I was not pleased with the process and I do not intend on using them for any future services. Although they were always so apologetic, things seemed to never fully get in track. The only highlight of my experience was working with Hillary. She was very instrumental in getting things moving. If you are looking for a quick turnaround, seamless communication, and effective project management, this is NOT the business for you.

I rarely write reviews, but I was so impress I had to. I called Servpro of So. Cabarrus Co. Christmas Eve around 4:30 (sewage backup had flooded my living room & foyer). 6:30 was the earliest they could get to my house. Chelsie & crew were at my house Christmas Eve before 6:00! I cannot express how grateful I am!! The guys had everything ripped out & all of the equipment set up in no time. They were very courteous & professional. They really took good care of me! Bless Chelsie! She was so patient with me! Thank you Chelsie & Crew!!
