This place came highly recommended, but did fall short for me and my group. The views, sitting on the water were amazing. The service was good, but the food fell short of expectations. I had a bowl of cream of crab which was not hot and very thick with a hint of crab and Old Bay. We also had the crab pretzel which again was so/so. The other dishes were the same.

Stopped by for a quick Friday night dinner (filled up on appetizers) around 8pm. Not too busy. Didn't have to wait to be seated. Waitress was really nice and attentive. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time and was delicious.

A group of us went to The Pier for lunch. We had ribs, Oyster Po Boy, Caesar Salad, Cream of Crab soup, Maryland Crab Soup, and Half and Half soup, hush puppies, and chicken wings. We were a bit disappointed in the soups. They did not have much crab in them. The flavor of the cream of crab soup was not very good. We've had better at other places. I did not care for the coleslaw. It did not have much flavor. I felt like I was eating raw, cut cabbage. It was not creamy nor flavorful at all. The other items were very good. Our server was excellent.

I have a mixed feeling about this restaurant. Customer service was nice, oyster and ahi tuna tacos were tasty. I loved berry mojito. However, snow crab was my huge disappointment. It was $34, and I understand it’s restaurant and it’s ok to serve me small size snow crab if there were enough meats inside. Honestly, not much meat, no side food, and just simple small snow crab for $34 aren’t reasonable. Again, I liked all other menu that I ordered and liked the location though.
