In the area from out of state for a wedding. Picked Lakehouse Tavern because of the diverse menu. Was pleasantly surprised to also have live music the evening we stopped in. Food, beverages and service were all excellent.

Highly recommend the Fish and Chips (we substitute for onion rings). Best I have ever had. The Lakehouse Dip at lunch is great. Excellent customer service.

I am confused at the star rating. The hostess was so rude. The waitress never once came over and asked us if we wanted more drinks or to check on us at all,(it was not busy time 4:30) and plenty of staff. the food was fair, we started with stuffed mushrooms it was like chewing on rubber and the smallest portion over, I got the prime rib and skinny scarce asparagus. The prime Rib had no flavor and mostly fat. We over heard other people complaining about the rudeness of staff. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone ever. And if you don’t have a reservation the staff makes sure you know it .. RUDE
