My family has been going to Umberto's for over 20 years and it's been very disappointing to see the quality of their food rapidly decline in the last few years. The flavor is lacking in both their pizza and pasta dishes, the sauce is sparse and greasy, and the descriptions on the menu do not match what you actually get (like pasta dishes not having any ricotta cheese in them despite what the menu claims). Our most recent order was so disappointing that we will no longer be returning.

Food and service are so good you probably won't notice the lack of parking (use closed store parking lots down the street) and the horrible acoustics of the dining room. Try a conversation without the word "what". But I will go back because it's worth the downsides.

I can tell you the OG restaurant was located on Long Island in New Hyde Park New York I went there for many years growing up in Floral Park New York I move to Florida happened to find them again here and have now been going to This Umbertos for at least 20 years it is owned and operated by the same men that had the OG restaurant in New York Still making the best NY pizza behind the counter They make the best Sicilian pizza in Dunedin FL and New Hyde Park NY for over 40 years !

Do you cater?Do you make half trays and full trays?Are you open Christmas Day if so what time do you close

They make trays, call ahead , I don't know if they support the catering, but do provide food. Not sure about Christmas Day. I hope they are closed.

Everybody is wearing masks and social distancing. There are hand sanitizers out for everyone to use. It is a great restaurant with amazing pizzas that is still safe to go to even during this pandemic.
