After receiving a dismissal report from my neurologist regarding the future need for a walker to assist with balance as well as mobility and strong drugs to deal with the daily pain from neuropathy in my feet and legs, to say the least, I was searching for any realistic option. Divine intervention lead me to Dr. Lisa Forsythe. She consulted with me regarding my medical history, which included a multitude of issues. We focused on my battle with cancer and the impact of chemotherapy on my body. Albeit a life saving treatment, the long term side effects of the chemotherapy have been extremely detrimental to my ongoing health. Dr. Forsythe recommended neurological acupuncture, although she couldn’t guarantee positive results, she had been successful with other patients. Thank you for taking the time to read my review, hopefully Dr. Forsythe can be as impactful for you as she has been for me. After the first treatment my balance began to be renewed, with continued treatments (about six) my feeling was re-established in my feet and legs, and there isn’t any pain! She has successfully provided me with a healthy alternative after a neurologist said there wasn’t anything that could be done to help me. Enjoying Life Again.

In 2018-19 I had a neurological problem that was unresolved with traditional Western medicine. I was referred to Dr. Lisa Forsythe who was able to alleviate my residual symptoms with a number of sessions and they have never come back. I am currently seeing her for a pinched nerve in my neck. She is the best! She is amazing in her ability to diagnose and treat your problem. Even though I am a physician assistant, I realize that sometimes we need something different from traditional treatment with pills or physical therapy, etc. If you are suffering from any neurological problem or have pain that persists, go see Dr. Lisa Forsythe. You will be glad you did!!

Facial Pain Since January of 2004, I have experienced the worst pain on the left side of my face and have been searching for relief. I have been seen by 8 different chiropractors, several massage therapists, a reflexologist, ENT’s, neurologists, an internal medicine specialist in South Carolina, and the facial pain clinic at UNC in Raleigh NC. I have tried acupuncture and rolfing and have seen several dentists, endodontists, orthodontists, etc. In all, over 30 practitioners and specialists in the medical system and complimentary disciplines. There have been a multitude of tests conducted over the years: nerve conduction study of the face, thermography, heavy metal screening, dental x-rays, numerous MRIs, CT scans, and a 3 phase nuclear bone scan. Various treatments have been tried: prescription drugs, nasal sprays, cervical paravertebral nerve block, and NTI splints for jaw alignment – all without any relief. The only relief I discovered was in Winston-Salem, NC through a practitioner of Mechanical Link. Not having Mechanical Link available to me after moving to Florida, I continued my search; seeing many of the same types of Doctors as I had tried before. In October 2021, I was introduced to Lisa Forsythe who began using neuroplasticity on me twice a week. My latest treatment was April 7, 2022 and as of today, May 17, 2022 – my pain is under control with no symptoms. The treatment plan is now to continue the neuroplasticity once per month. I have been seeing Dr Lisa for 10 years. She listens and adapts treatment each time. She has cleared several conditions and helps me manage others. I feel great!

Questions & Answers

As a retired USAF veteran I am wondering do you take my insurance "tricare for life" ??

**EDIT* Sorry, I'm confusing Tricare with TriWest, which works differently. Definitely give them a call, but they do accept most insurances that cover acupuncture.** They do accept most insurances, but sometimes you have to get special approval through your VA doctor before Tricare approves the sessions. Best bet, either call the office to learn more about the procedure and coverage and/or speak to your VA doctor and let them know you want to try acupuncture and have them put you into the program.

what acupuncture attempts to accomplish

I just finished my 10th visit as 10 sessions were needed. I have several health issues and Acupuncture in conjunction with Chiropractic is helping more than medical doctors like Primary Care Physician, whom only wanna give you chemical rubbish that has so many side effects and ultimately does NOT work. Dr Cheshire is highly professional, personable and extremely knowledgeable in alternative medicine. I am now on maintenance program and will continue once per month or as needed. I would highly recommend Mulberry Integrated Medicine.
