These owners are clueless regarding camping. Called several times regarding our booked site and when we arrived we could not fit. The site we were moved to was so uneven. Took the 160.00 hit, due to the owners acting like they were hassled.... not.ruining my rig for your shifty camp ground.

we camped for the first time here on memorial day weekend. we were giving a spot that was supposed to be a permanent spot for the weekend. we liked it so much we booked a reservation for july 4th weekend for the same spot. i called and the gentleman i spoke with said noone was going to be in that spot so we could reserve it again. july 1st came ,we went to check in and they said its a permanent spotand there was a portable deck and golf cart sitting there but no camper so needless to say we were told one thing and was made to take a spot that was far from what we wanted. the woman at the atore told me they like to book people then push them into another spot. when i told her that wasnt right she said they dont do that and i told her "you just said they did do that" she replied " in the beginning they did" so liar and bad business. i doubt we ever come back and from what ive read alot of people feel the same way.

Walnut Grove has everything for everyone! Fishing enthusiasts to family fun. We loved our stay here! There were fun activities all weekend long for the kiddos and adults. Beautifully well kept sites and grounds. Felt right at home and welcomed by the staff and management:) We are already planning our next stay there!

It's end of season so most people were gone already. But my kids have fun down there with the swimming pool & playground. No complaints from me!

I am sorry we fell below our standard of camping the week you stayed with us. All 3 wells are regularly tested and the water is safe for use, the odor you mentioned is sulfur. On the rare instance we receive a complaint, we immediately identify which well, so we can fix or adjust according to usage. After reading your review, we will take a more proactive approach in monitoring our wells. Unfortunately, we did have a hot water tank go out the week you stayed. I was made aware of the problem on Saturday so we closed that shower house and directed customers to the other shower house. The janitorial crew has been instructed to do a twice daily check on hot water status. I want to invite you to return and give us a chance to show you a great camping experience. I hope you still have my cell phone # from when I offered to take you canoeing. We take these as opportunities to learn and continuously improve. Thank you for camping with us, Tonya Reinhart
Yes they allow pets on a leash at all times clean up after they potty
Calling the campground or checking the website is the way to go. ...the owners are great
We used to be able to with the old owners. I'm not sure what these new guys will have to check at the store or with them.
We have new owners as of the last month or so.... I am not sure if they will be renting the house out any more...
