Took our three kiddos down for a trail ride, and we had a blast! The horses were all sane & sound, and super well-behaved on the trails. My boys aren’t the most confident riders so their horses tried to get away with shenanigans, but only things like snacking. (What horse wouldn’t?!) Jill, our guide, would stop when we needed to get my youngest’s boot back into the stirrup, and was keeping an eye on the kiddos from the front and I brought up the rear. The trails were well maintained and beautiful! If you are a green rider, be sure to ask about how to handle hills—they aren’t huge, but it will help to understand how to lean forward & back when needed. We showed up to do a trail ride and waited for 30 minutes and called multiple times but didn't get an answer. Somebody drove up the driveway and waved to us so they knew we were there but still didn't come out. Very disappointed as we were …I am sorry for your inconvenience there are days due to weather or other circumstances we are unable to do rides. We do say reservations are recommended.
