How many reviews about poor attitudes from employees will it take for ownership to take steps to remedy the situation? My first visit today. Manager wanted to turn me away from giving my dog a bath after I had checked in at the counter because the store was to close in 10 minutes (my gps had me there at 5:45). Then when I attempted to return the lead that I’d borrowed for my dog she was completely condescending, stating “I’d rather your dog not be running around the parking lot.” My dog walks off leash. He was wound up in the store due to all of the treats, but regardless of her opinion, you just don’t treat people that way. I just moved back here from Lewis Center and Mutts & Co is only 2 minutes further so I will not be back. For anything.

I was in this store a few days ago when they were having computer issues. I was the first customer after they resolved the issues and did not realize until I got home that they had charged me $18.98 for dog food that the customer in front of me had purchased. I called the store and the woman told me that she had no way of issuing me a refund over the phone and that I would have to come into the store. I told her that it would probably be two days until I could get back into the store to do that and she said it would be no problem. Today I went over to the store, explained the situation, and was told by the manager that he could not issue me a refund because he had no way to verify my story - I might be lying to him. I told him we were going to pick up our new puppy today, that we were not even going to use Science Diet (which was what was on my receipt), and that I had planned on buying a bag of Victor Professional. He still told me he could not issue me a refund because he could not believe my story. He did tell me I could come back on Sunday and the woman who was the cashier who made the mistake could verify my story. I'm getting a new puppy, I have 3 young boys at home, and really don't have a lot of time to keep coming back out to this store over a mistake they made. I will not be returning to this store. I love supporting local businesses and franchises, and they are the only store locally that carries Victor Professional, but insulting my integrity over $18.98 has caused this store to lose what could have been a very long-time customer.

Probably the WORSTA CUSTOMER SERVICE I’ve ever encountered. Not only are children running the store. They have zero knowledge on the things they are selling.
