This place is awesome!!! We were wandering in Boston, looking for a bite to eat, and came upon Tavern In The Square. My friend had mentioned to me before that this restaurant was really committed to accommodating people with food restrictions, and truly, I cannot say that enough! This was my first time eating at a non-fast food restaurant & it was incredible. I had a great time and the food was phenomenal; my parents LOVED the vegetarian options available as well. Not only did the restaurants have an allergen menu, but they even offered to make substitutions for certain options. They really took my allergies seriously and made me feel special while doing so; I mean, I even got an allergy pick! What a good deal… I would also like to shoutout our server Anna who was kind, courteous, and so so helpful every step of the way. She made us feel at home and at ease while dining out. Thank you to everyone who made this experience possible at Tavern in The Square. Would recommend this place to anyone in Boston looking for a restaurant to eat out. :)

We went to this restaurant after the Boston Marathon. Our daughter's boyfriend ran in the marathon, and we were concerned about being able to find restaurant with gluten free options for him. We were also a group of six, so that could have been an issue also. Tavern in the Square had so many gluten free options, even fried foods that he normally cannot eat. The food was excellent and the service was great. They had quite a few large groups, but the staff all seemed to jump in and help out to keep things moving. We all loved our selections!

Absolutely amazing service very attentive when we couldn't figure out what we wanted. Patient all alone with us. Drink was made perfectly shaken the right amount of times and all. Great atmosphere and pleasant music.

Very tasty food with a large amount of gluten-free options. We had the cornflake fried boneless chicken wings and the fish and chips(dedicated frier) with flourless chocolate cake for dessert it was delicious The staff were all very nice and accommodating
