Rassawek Vineyards

After displaying our antique gas engines at the Rockville Field Days of the Past show every year since its inception, and after having displayed our exhibit a couple years ago at a Rassawek event, my husband and I were shocked today by how the owner of the vineyard treated us and one of his volunteers! My husband and I are senior citizens who spent almost 3 hours loading our antique engines on Friday in order to leave our home by 7:30am and arrive by 8:45 for set up today. When we arrived no one was able to tell us where we should go to set up our display. Finally, a volunteer called Mr. Liesfeld, who stated, "Gas engines weren't invited" and promptly hung up on his volunteer! Displays such as ours are part of what attracts the crowds of paying customers to such an event. A compassionate and caring business owner would not have hung up so curtly on a volunteer and would most likely have responded in a more humane manner such as, "I'm sorry we miscommunicated about when the gas engines were to be here...at the Autumn event instead of today. But we do have plenty of room around the saw mill, so please set up somewhere there and enjoy your day." I cannot recommend a business run by such an uncaring person. I will not recommend Rassawek vineyard or its products for that reason. Dr. Meese

Never heard of this place until I heard about Fall Festival on radio. Wonderful venue. Loved the train cars for rent! Can't wait to do this with Grandson!

What a perfect day for the Rassawek Autumn Festival. Lots of vendors, food, music, and art. Loved the steam engines. And the truck/tractor pull was a Big hit.

We went to the autumn festival and enjoyed our time there. Lots to see and do. Food trucks and beer and wine were available. It was a beautiful day!
