I'm sure the inn is nice, but they just acquired a local motel and because we reserved online we were put over there with little amenities. We did not get to stay at the Eastern Slope Inn as advertised online. We could have stayed at another motel for far less.

This has been our timeshare for a while. We have not been back until this July 2022. The room has all you needed. Big enough for two people. Right in the center of town. There is a playhouse near by, great restaurants, a nice bakery near by and much more. The staff is superb. Have fun.

Don’t stay here! There are far better resorts within a 15 minute drive than this place. The staff at the front desk are incredibly rude and unhelpful. We have had consistent problems since checking in, with no help from the staff. They simply told us they cannot help us with the issues with our rooms’s location, and parking. Our room was located in a building with no available parking lot. Because the parking lot was closed to the public, there were not enough parking spaces to accommodate all present guests. We were denied parking in any legal spaces, and were told if we parked in available street parking spaces, we would be towed, as well as any open spots our motorcycle could fit in on the resort’s property. We were also denied access to the luggage carts provided for the guests, despite not being able to park in front of our own building. Because we were placed in a room located in a building other than the main building, the staff at the front desk told us we must walk our belongings to our room, due to the carts being available to main building guests only. The rooms are cramped And outdated, staff is rude and lazy. Less than a half a day into our stay and we are already looking for other places to stay for the duration of our visit. We will not be back.

Our family stayed at the Eastern Slope Inn last December for our Journey to the North Pole on the North Conway Railroad. We were extremely disappointed by our experience and will not return to this hotel. We travelled four hours from Massachusetts and arrived around 8pm (around bedtime for our 6 y/o, 4 y/o, and 20 month old). We had booked an adjoining suite with a kitchen for our family and my sister and were pleased with the accommodations upon check-in. After the kids settled down and were in bed. We received a call from the front desk telling us we needed to move rooms because my sister brought her dog and our room was not pet-friendly. My sister checked-in with us and her dog was in full view. A front desk staff member even commented on him — no one told us at that point that the dog was not allowed. Furthermore, upon booking, we confirmed that the hotel was pet-friendly (apparently only some rooms are pet friendly). After numerous trips to the front desk, trying to figure out what our options were, the best offer the manager could give us was to move our whole family at 11pm (below freezing temperatures with sleeping children) to one of the off-site rooms approximately a mile away — FOR AN EXTRA CHARGE!! That’s correct. THEY charged US to move to a less desirable room further from the pool and train (the whole reason we booked this hotel in the first place) because of a mistake ON THEIR PART. I tried to appeal to the humanity of the manager and front desk staff by telling them that we had small children and that they were already asleep in their beds. I asked if my kids really needed to be woken up for this — the night before a BIG event for them. Couldn’t we just stay the night in this room and move early tomorrow? We’re up early, the beds have already been slept in, the dog was already in the room (for allergy reasons — I know service dogs are allowed in these rooms) and the room is not going to be able to be cleaned and booked for a new customer before tomorrow. The answer was: NO — we have to leave the room now and pay the additional fee for the new room… (or drive four hours home?? Or try to find a new hire at midnight??) When we got to the new room it was part of an old run-down motel, the room was freezing (heat was not on) and did not have a kitchen. This customer service experience at Eastern Slope Inn was unacceptable. The complete lack of any empathy (or logic) was appalling. Our family made the best of our weekend, but we were grievously mistreated. Please don’t give this hotel your business. They do not deserve it.

We upgraded our Wifi in March of 2019. We have had very good input from our guests that the Wifi met their needs for working/learning remotely. Looking forward to seeing you.
I am pleased you enjoyed our stay with us. I have had guests inquire about this before. We purchase them from a hotel supply company. I have not been able to find a supplier that will sell in small quantities. However, if you stay with us again, feel free to inquire at the desk. If we have enough extra in stock our Executive Housekeeper has sold them direct to guests through the resort. Sincerely, Megan Scheid
The Cathedral Heights is one of our off property locations. It is approximately 1 mile from the Main Inn off of River Road/Westside Road down by Echo Lake and Cathedral Ledge. For more information on the units please reach out to our Front Desk at 603.356.6321 ext 0.
You will need to ask the resort for that information.
NOT pet friendly... we got asked to leave one year after we left the room and our dogs barked. Neighbors complained. Think there is a hotel a few miles south that is pet friendly.

I think they have pictures on their website of the different room configurations.
Skiing! Shopping There's also a train that goes around town.
I know the one bedrooms and the studios do. Not sure on the hotel rooms.
