We have been visiting Fairhaven Furniture for years, I've bought tons of cool gifts, excellent cards, jewelry, accessories etc. When we moved and needed some new furniture for our new space, I remember our years lusting over their furniture and we beat a path to their door. We were overwhelmed with the task at hand (we needed bedroom, dining room and living room furniture) and we were trying blend it with pieces that we were bringing from our old home. We "thought" we knew what we needed but it was clear we needed help. I'm not a design-type person where everything has to match and so I was a little scared when they offered their design services (heck I'm pushing 70, I think I know what I want right?) but we are SO glad we took them up on this service. They listened to how we planned to use the space, looked and measured pieces that we were bringing along with us and then visited our new space and measured everything. We went back to the store and pointed out the pieces that we really liked and they came up with a master plan that is stunning, comfortable and works incredibly well. There is no way we would have gotten the same results had we not availed ourselves of this service. There was no hard sell to make us buy anything, their focus was totally on our tastes and budget, both Mark and Lao really listened to us and we could not be more pleased with the outcome. If you haven't been to this gem of a store, GO! I almost defy you to walk out empty handed. Even if furniture isn't what you're looking for, it's so much more.

Hi everyone- I bought a Woodforms "Luna" Cherry Entertainment center here last June. I viewed it at the store, and loved it- except for the drawer pull and door pull style. They made it work and had the type that I liked installed by Woodforms when they built it- a more traditional "button" type pull that matched the Woodworms Chest of Drawers that I was also purchasing. These are both very well built pieces, and after about a year now, I am very happy with them. The Cherry ages beautifully. Moving on, I saw a Woodworms panel bed that would match the chest of drawers that I really liked, but unfortunately, the headboard was just not going to be high enough. Guess what? They had it built the 8 inches higher that I wanted, for a small up-charge! Not done yet! I got the bed home, and decided that I wanted to do the underbed storage that was available if wanted, and again, Woodworms built it, ( with a couple small "tweaks" too make it more to my liking) Fair Haven furniture's delivery guys brought it ( They do a great job- are neat, and treat everything very carefully) and installed it, as they did piece by piece as I was buying all this. ( I was getting my deliveries sporadically, due to the supply issues) At this point, with everything in, I decided I needed a mattress. They sell Gold Bond. I wasn't sure if I liked what they had in stock, and didn't want to make a mistake.I had broken my back and neck and needed something that would be best for me. I was going to opt out on that for the time being, when I was told that if I wanted, they could make an appt for me at the factory where Gold Bond builds all their mattresses, in Hartford, and I could look at everything that they make. I did that, and besides being interesting and informative, I found exactly what I needed, and Fair Haven furniture did the order, and had me my mattress in about two weeks. It's been good. I had also needed a really good, supportive chair, for the issue stated above, and had been looking at the Ekornes Stressless line of chairs. I settled on the Stressless Mayfair, and ordered it. If you google Stressless and look at reviews, you simply cannot find bad reviews. The Mayfair is one of the most popular selling of these chairs , but they have many, many to choose from, in a variety of colors and leather types. I chose Brown Paloma. The owners, Colleen, and Lau will bend over backwards to help you achieve what it is that you want, and the salespeople do the same. There was never any upselling, and I was left alone ( just like I like it!) to shop, but at any point in the process, a salesperson was right there to help out with any questions. Joe, Lupe and Mark were great. If you feel you are not being paid attention to, call someone- they don't want to stand over your shoulder, it seems. I personally like that, but your mileage may vary. Just let them know if you want to browse alone, or want them with you! The customer service and personal attention that you are given is something I just don't find anymore. They went above and beyond to please me, and I am difficult with what I want sometimes. Or as a guy- just undecided! Lead times may be longer now- these days, on items you order! I waited, at times with frustration, but that part is just not their fault, and at this time, nothing can be done about it. It is worth the wait for nice things. But it's hard! If you buy at Fair Haven Furniture, I can't see how you would ever be going wrong! It's a nice place. Go look, if nothing else. The website shows nothing compared to what they have in store. So many unique items that you just won't see anywhere else, as these things are sourced from places you would never find on your own! A bump in the road that I experienced was handled immediately and professionally by the owners, and they have always gone out of their way to help me in any of my needs. They go above and beyond, for sure! While I can't get everything I want there, ( just my tastes) they are for sure the first place I'll look moving forward, if there is anything else I need! Thanks Guys!

This modern store is a gem tucked into this neighborhood. Beautiful, high quality furniture made in New England. Friendly staff with design services. When the line at IKEA is too long, come over for a relaxing browsing experience!
