Had the Bad Hombre Burrito, Sonoran Hot Dog, and the Birria de Chivito. Growing up in L.A., I had birria often, and I was really craving the flavors of home. It was so tender and flavorful I wished I had more than one stomach. The burrito was top notch and the hot dog was an explosion of flavors. Loved El Corazón!

A rare find in Portland, very good food (each of us had different dishes that were remarkably authentic) at a very reasonable price. Wait staff was quite friendly attentive without being the least bit overbearing. Will definitely return on my next trip back to Portland.

Very good and authentic Mexican food. They have the best fish tacos in Maine. Definitely try the hatch Chile stew or the Pozole. The owners flan is so good ! She makes the best flan in Maine . Try the Cheek tacos you will be glad you did. And make sure to get a grilled chilli pepper with your meal.
