This is a very great helpful place for residents ... in my times of need they have helped me w thier wonderful food pantry and staff.

The community outreach of the Catholic Church and Catholic Charities, St. Vincent de Paul, once called the poor box is now a major facilitator of food pantries, rent assistance, monetary assistance for everything from utility bills, clothing, and medical bills. The St. Francis Xavier Church supports their local St. Vincent de Paul through weekly donations from parishioners, donations and gifts. Food Pantries are a huge need. On Thursday and Friday from 10 am until noon people can come in and be given a wide selection of food items for themselves and their families. Participation is restricted to twice a month. Items distributed are donated by local supermarkets, individuals, school food drives and parish collections throughout the year. If you are in need you are welcome with open arms. There is no embarrassment.

I went to the food pantry and was amazed at the amount and variety of food that was available! The staff was extremely nice, helpful and understanding (I'm handicapped). The amount of fresh produce was plentiful. I received 4 extremely packed plastic bags overflowing with food.
