Place was one of the only pizza spots open late night Sunday July 3, and thank god for that otherwise I might not have found it. Phenomenal pizza!

I waited over an hour for one -yes, one- plain pizza pie that arrived stone cold. I called after waiting for 30 minutes and they said that I should be another 5 minutes, but it took another 30 minutes. Not to mention that I’m only a few blocks away. I’m never ordering from Astoria Pizzeria again.

Rude people on the phone. Had to repeat address three times. Ordered a variation of a few slices and with exception of a basic cheese slice it was lackluster. Also ordered a Philly cheese on a hero which was bland and dry. If you want a good slice go to Mike's Pizza or Vidali's as a secondary option. If you want a cheese steak go to 21st deli near the subway for half the price and three times as good. This place you can skip.
