This business is a treasure! I collect mid-century modern furniture and one of the dining room chairs I bought was cracked in two down the back. Also, I wanted to reupholster the seats but the wood was over 70 years old and falling apart so I needed new wooden seats made. The wonderful man who owns the business and his son were delightful. This was a small job but important to me and I was treated extremely well and thrilled with the repair and the new seats and the price was more than reasonable. I strongly urge you to do business with these folks!

I do not repair upholstery of any kind. Only wood and coatings.

I have an light mahogany living room side table with a top that needs refinishing. A plastic like rug pad stuck to it and destroyed the surface. The remainder of the table remains in good condition. Is it possible to refinish the top to match?

Yes it is. Sometimes easier than others but anything is possible.

I m looking to have an oil painting cleaned. It was painted by a local artist in 1959 and has hung in a home with constant cigarette smoking. Do u do this or do u have any recommendations as to where i might go to have this done.

I work with furniture. I'm not sure who does that locally. Perhaps a frame shop could point you in the right direction.
