I'm sad to write this review because I've been coming to this bowling alley since I was in high school, and today, the service was just absolutely unacceptable. I felt the need to share this review in case there are other families who are thinking about coming here for their family night. DON'T!!! This place may seem family friendly but the service that we received today shows otherwise. We get there when there weren't many people there, seeing that there were over 6 lanes that were open and available and as we get there and ask for a lane, they put us next to the biggest group there. We kindly asked for a lane change to the lane over, so that we can all play comfortably, including the family that we were placed next to. They denied it, saying that it's "going to get really busy" soon, even though we were the immediate customers that were actually in that place. We accept that we can't change our lanes, even though we did not agree, we just decided to bowl and try to enjoy our night. Then, they added a group of 15 high school boys next to us, when there were 6 other lanes on the other side, which makes no sense to me. They were so loud, rambunctious, even stepping over to our side of the lane WHILE we were bowling and management did absolutely nothing to stop it or even make amends. I will never be bringing my family here, knowing what kind of culture and environment this establishment seems to want to create.. there are more than 4 bowling lanes just 30 minutes in the vicinity. If you want to have an enjoyable family night at a REAL family friendly bowling alley, go somewhere else.

I love Montvale Lanes since this is great and I really miss going to Bowler City and I miss the good days when I went to Brunswick Lanes and I wasn't really good at bowling but I kept going and going and I realize that I was really good at it. I was thinking about the good old days when my Brother Greg went to Brunswick Lanes before they changed it to Bowlero and he will win many bowling championships.

Good place to visit. Nice atmosphere friendly staff good prices specially on sundays. They have a special for two hours. The kids spend the entire 2 hours playing. Thank you

Lane turned off for 15+ mins. Then they switched us to another lane. Otherwise great.

Yes. They have gutter bumpers for kids under 8yrs. I saw children bringing in birthday presents so I think they allow parties. They also have food for sale.
