We absolutely loved the tour and highly recommend it! Suzanne was our guide and she was fantastic. The house is beautiful, the tour is very informative and entertaining, and they have a wonderful gift shop. We'd never been to Fall River and it's a cute place. We'd love to go back and are planning to stay at the Lizzie Borden House when we do!

I was on the 6/8/2022 tour yesterday at 11:30 and was feeling a bit light headed. The guide was great to let me get some fresh air by the front door. I missed most of the tour but met a wonderful gentleman from California, so that made it certainly worth it! This was actually my second time here and loved coming back - my kids and father-in-law had never been, but absolutely LOVED it!!! The story leaves you guessing about what really happened that day. Great tour guide and facts about the day. Would definitely recommend to everyone!! Jen Capalbo, MA

It's a beautiful place to go and spend the night . The history behind this house is so amazing. Staff there are amazing and so nice. I spent the night there on 1/28/2022 the night of the blizzard, I stayed in Bridget Sullivan room, I did the ghost hunt tour and had all the equipment for the night. Nothing happened, no activity at all,it was just an ordinary night like at a hotel. there was no paranormal activity at all,NOTHING! extremely disappointed! But was a great experience to say I spent the night at the Lizzie Borden house. I would rate this review as a 3.5 out of 5

The house is BEAUTIFUL and everyone I had come across was so kind. My tour guide was Vic, she was absolutely incredible to say the least. The tour was so fascinating and definitely the highlight of my business trip. Her personality was so spunky and she knew how to keep the group involved and listening. She answered every question I had even down to the heights of the members in the household! I would love to come back again soon, and plan to do the Fall River ghost tour with them as well! Thank you for doing such a wonderful job of entertaining my morbid curiosity!

There is no off season
I think that the gift shop hours vary based on if there are tours going on. but I would try giving them a call first! you can also find Lizzie Borden merchandise at the Fall River Historical Society!
Whole house is $1650. One floor $850
How haunted? On a scale of 1 to 10? 13.
All the information you seek about the tours can be found on our website at this link: https://lizzie-borden.com/index.php/tours/ If you have any further questions please don’t hesitate to axe!
When we did our tour there were too many people to actually get the feel of spirits. Was definitely worth the trip.
On their website it tells you the price $250 per night. Took all of 2 seconds to find it without needing to make a snarky comment
August 4th. Yearly. No matter what day of the week it falls on. It's an awesome reenactment and fun experience.
No. House is original from the 1800s. Stairs and narrow hallways.
It depends on the room and season. All the information is on the site.
The maximum number of people is 20 for the whole house rental. If you need more information it can be found here on our website: https://lizzie-borden.com/index.php/about/#reservations
Yes the tours are a separate cost
I would book first because they get booked fairly quick, you will get a discount if you book through the reservation
They do have the gift shop. I was just there this weekend. I did not see umbrellas, but there are pillowcases puzzles, pins, magnets, coffee mugs, books, dolls, fake bloody hatchets, T shirts, hats and a bunch of other cool stuff!
I wouldn't.
To your question to answer your question Lizzy Borden bed and breakfast step mother father in the House with a hatchet so people think that Lizzy Spirit which is a poltergeist 5 now that still inhabits the house that's why it's so haunted and Evil
They were closed when we just left last week. I believe they are re-opening around June 25th...we also went to the cemetary to see her grave. It was a cool experience...people left money on her stone
Stayed in parents room. Didn't see any ghosts.
I got stabbing pains in my stomach and horrific vertigo while sitting on the couch where the father got murdered. Happened nowhere else in the house and never happened again after.
Check website ..but great place and great staff. Go see it
Yes you can. Tours are generally on the hour from 11am to 4pm.
There are several tours a day and they are very helpful. We bought ours earlier in the day for later in the afternoon. I highly recommended this as a must see. Also visit other areas of interest such as her grave.
They have tours 11-3 on the hour (11, 12, 1...). Their website is very helpful https://lizzie-borden.com/index.php/about-the-house/house-tours There is a tiny parking lot behind the house or metered street parking nearby. You'll go behind the house to the garage/barn to sign up for the tour. Get there BEFORE 11 for the 11 am tour because the tour itself starts at 11 in front of the house & you should already be paid & ready.
There is no "Peak Season". The rates are the same year round. If you would care to check on the rates and availability here is a link to the reservation system: https://portal.freetobook.com/reservations?w_id=14653&w_tkn=SLaqwyDYaViJ3rF71nyZkQH6Tcut7mVkESICmD45RsQEVESyRkIWlznCVjB3M Hope this answers your question.
I would call and speak to someone who works there. The history of how Andrew Borden remodeled the house was an incredibly interesting part of the tour.
If you book your reservation through our online booking system, payment is 100% at time of booking. If you make the reservation by calling the Lizzie Borden Bed & Breakfast you have to pay 25% of the entire booking cost as a deposit, at minimum, and pay the remaining balance upon arrival. Hope that answers you question.
Just the tour. Loved every minute and the guide was so dramatic and personable. Rick the guide made us think he had been there as a witness, he has the Goods on Lizbeth.
Yeah I think it was just by room when I went and I personally didn't find anything that was inappropriate for kids (nothing worse than what's on the news anyway)
They typically book up in advance and are full frequently, I don't believe they need the marketing help of a coupon, but you can always search!
I recently stayed overnight for two days in a row. Had a wonderful time, but yes, definitely haunted.
They give a great tour, you won't be sorry.
Too much sorry i do not think it os worth it.
