Very friendly and helpful. I had an appointment which I think helped. Gave four starts only because the paperwork didn't give me the address to the place but I called the evening before and they did call me back the morning right after before my appointment so I knew where I was going. Also the paperwork didn't mention that I needed to bring a copy of my social security card. So that's why I gave four stars. But the staff was wonderful!

They are waiting for the state to release some funds in order to send out more checks, you can always call for the status of your application
They do sliding scale based on income.
I think they base it on your income. Some years 800, some years 1200
Some families qualify for the adopt a family through ccap... And they also do a gift and hat program. They'll mail you a slip with your pick up date and the gifts you choose from go by the children's ages... I don't remember what the age cut off for that is
Generally when the funding runs out, always best to get a jump on it early...
Generally they are open during regular business hours, you should call to make an appointment though

No there are no apartments here. They can, however help with resources for housing and section 8 ect. Give them a call or just walk in.
