The fish are healthy, tanks are beautiful with incredibly knowledgeable & helpful staff that recognize their 'frequent flyers' {although I do believe they should have a program for such return buyers where every $10 spent at $100, earns you either $10 off a $100 purchase, or 10% off your next purchase, etc!!! Return customers should be honored, in my opinion, esp those who solely buy their aquarium needs here, like my son!} though all customers are greeted well, offered experienced help, waited on with care & concern until your needs are met!!! WHAT A GREAT PLACE TO SHOP, PEOPLE! FORGET PET PLACES FOR FISH. COME HERE WHERE THEY KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT THE FISH & YOUR AQUARIUM. I've been to 'pet stores,' & bought fish myself before & the staff knows little to nothing more than I can read on the tank labels!!! NOT HERE!! HERE, THEY KNOW! THEY HELP! THEY CARE ABOUT YOUR FISH & YOUR AQUARIUM!

Amazing store and great staff! I'm definitely coming back, it's worth the drive! I got a Betta and some khuli loaches, I was impressed with the selection.

Amazing little fish shop. Great level of selection of dry and live goods for both saltwater and freshwater tanks. Also really nice selection of corals last time I was there. Had to catch myself from drooling last time I was there. Best coral selection in the area hands down. For saltwater they perform a week of quarantine and observation which is amazing and not common. One area they could improve on is a better selection of frozen foods but not enough to knock off a star. Staff seems very knowledgeable and friendly as well.

On a busy Sunday we were attended to by two different very helpful associates, one whom answered all of my questions (I forgot his name, sorry) and Fitz who helped me get the invertebrate and fish I needed. They were very knowledgeable and straightforward as to which fish would do well in my tank. I've worked with fish before and everything they said matched with what I already knew, and they informed me about fish of which I am not familiar. The store is well stocked with fresh and saltwater fish, invertebrates, live plants, and animals of different sizes for a reef tank. They also have whatever you need for equipment, also well stocked. There is a ten day guarantee on freshwater fish with a water sample, so provided your water is ok you should be able to get a new fish or refund but I have not had to use that. This area has needed a quality aquatics store and it's location in Ballston Spa is just a few minutes from downtown Saratoga. They do quarantine their fish when they come in, which you won't find at most pet stores.
