I honestly could not give worst review, have been coming for some time, over 3 years without dirty urines, GM of my job finally things looking great… my doctor leaves the clinic.. well the new guy. He’s got an issue with my marijuana usage and can’t seem to grasp when a manager calls out at McDonald’s I need to cover. The new doctor Dr Hewitt would constantly make comments is this even working for you even tho I hadn’t had opiates in YEARS, he made me come back every single week despite my difficult work schedule. I got to the point I left the clinic to detox myself because he was just not willing to work with me. I would never recommend them to anyone the past year they have gone down the drain.

having 9 years of recovery and working in many places of recovery facilities, I have never witnessed a place that jeopardizes a persons recovery the way this place does. 3 times Clean Slate had forgotton to fax my mothers script over, whom has been in recovery herself for 8 years now. The 1st two times being one a friday, leaves you stranded if they forget to fax your script over. The last time they forgot really took me to a state of shock. I couldn't get over the fact of how irresponsible and heartless an outpatient recovery center could be. Last month in August, 2 days before we left for our 2 week family vacation in Maine, I took my mother to her appointment on a Thursday, where my mother made sure to tell the doctor that she leaves in 2 days for her vacation. The doctor said not to worry that he was faxing over her script his self, right after her appoitment. Well you could only imagine my thought at 7pm when I go to the pharmacy but nothing has been faxed over. Next morning on Friday my mother calls Clean Slate's main number, because unfortunately you can't call the direct number to the facility that you go to, which is nonsense in its self. The lady she spoke to said, try again in the afternoon, but when I went back still nothing was faxed. Again my mother calls the main line and the lady said she will let them know but to try the pharmacy around 4:30pm and call back before 5:00pm if it still wasn't there. I go back to the pharmacy and of course there is a huge line by 4:40 it was my turn, only to hear that nothing was faxed still. My mother then called back, but no answer, they are closed and mind you my mother still hasn't taken her dose for that day. Being 9 years in recovery and away from the street life I, had to go out and find subs to buy so my mother wouldn't be sick. Next day on Saturday my mother calls the emergency Med line, which I don't understand why that even exist in the 1st place, they took down all her information and said they would call her back but never did. That evening we left to our family vacation so I don't disappoint my 8 year old who looks forward to this every year. That following Wednesday I had to leave Maine and drive 6 hours home due to heavy traffic and 4.5 hours back to Maine to go pick up her prescription it finally was at the pharmacy. I couldn't get over how an outpatient recovery center could make such a huge mistake. I mean once is understandable but 3 times in the same year is not. Anyone who is new in recovery would end up relapsing and you would think with all the overdoses, a place like this would do everything and anything to make sure that person doesn't end up back out. Another thing I find ridiculous is seeing my mother stressed out over making sure she saves her wrappers and doesn't throw them away. I mean I just don't get the concept of that. Even the person I found and bought subs from had to take them out of the wrappers because they needed them to bring back to their appoitment. I'm hoping clean slate don't think that helps people not sell their prescription because they must not believe that addicts are the most intelligent beings and sharp quick thinkers, and how a thing like saving your wrappers wouldn't stop them in the 1st place. All and All I feel Clean Slate needs some real training with working in addiction and really needs to be more mindful about faxing over people's prescriptions. I definitely feel that they shouldn't work in the recovery field, especially if you don't have the compassion for addicts and take their lives more seriously.
