We had dinner at one of the amazing local restaurants in Malden center. When we realized we had forgotten our parking pass in our car, we asked the restaurant to stamp our “check” as proof that we had spent some $$ in our community. When we left the parking, we noticed some new faces at the register. We explained the situation, showed the stamped restaurant “check” but some rude lady just brushed us off, asked to pay or stay stuck. Some other lady was just at a table doing nothing. We were unable to reach management ... mailbox full ... the full poor customer experience. TERRIBLE experience with this rude crew!!!

met up with friends at exchange st bistro. drank, ate and drank more. we were there for quite sometime. they (esb) validated parking of which but ticket guy made up his own rules and charged me anyhow. 6 dollars. yeah it isnt a lot, but street parking is way less and goes back to the city. such a scam. validated parking is um validated not up to random gate guy rate decisions. i am born and raised maldonian. this was the first time i parked there bc i dont feel safe. f that. park on the street. it is worth the drive around.
