The hotel was fully booked and very short staffed. The first thing I noticed when I got off the elevator was a foul stench. On my quest to find a working ice maker, I realized the odor was coming from heaping piles of trash on every floor!! We reserved a suite for our family of 6. Linens were not provided for the couch bed. When I went downstairs to request some, the attendant said sheets were being washed. At 10 pm, well past my kids' bedtime, I went back downstairs and waited another 20 minutes for the single staff member to get a sheet for me. They still didn't have any blankets. However, the AC went out so the blankets weren't needed afterall. The final concerns were unexpected paid parking and a back door that was left open three different times. Definitely not the most secure. The perks were a comfy sleep, adequate breakfast, and great location.

Of all the Holiday Inn Express hotels I have stayed in, this one had the friendliest and kindest staff. I think they are working hard to make this a hospitable location. I should note, however, this had one of the worst bathrooms I have experienced from this hotel chain, particularly the stained and damaged tub/shower. Sadly, we were also surprised by the absence of the promised hot breakfast. I am sure this was a one-time staffing issue, and the staff that were there tried valiantly to rectify the situation. The breakfast, though, is one of the main reasons we chose this hotel!

Great central location that makes it easy to get to downtown without having to be in the bustle of the main city. The location is excellent. There are lots of food options walkable from the hotel. Nice room, but not the cleanest. Had to do some picking up myself. I would still stay here again though. Pool is heated and great for relaxing. Also not the cleanest. Bed is super comfortable and cushy. The bed is the best part of this place! Free breakfast is pretty good. It’s the standard Hampton Inn/holiday inn “continental + eggs/bacon” mix. It’s convenient and low-stress when you have a family traveling. Shaniqua (the attendant) was charming and fun.

I've stayed at other holiday inns and this one was pretty run down. The room and halls had a musty smell, the sink and tub didn't drain so we'd have to take short showers. Our room with a pull out bed didn't have sheets or pillows for the sofa bed. The gym didn't have a working water cooler, and the ice machine filter was almost 5 years old. The 5th floor sign was missing on the elevator but everything worked fine. The staff were great though and I enjoyed the breakfast.

I liked it, seemed pretty safe to me, and I'm a very cautious person.
Like a block of rooms? Not sure.
I would say no. The parking lot goes down a hill and is very narrow.
They only serve breakfast. This location however, is close enough to many of the local eateries I'd say are with in walking distance.
The shuttle does go to the Casino. The range for the shuttle is a 3 mile radius from the hotel. And the shuttle operation hours are 7am- last call at 10:30pm. On the weekends though, the shuttle tends to stay later. Also, whenever there events the shuttle usually stays later to make sure everyone gets back safely. Every driver is different though. So it's always a good idea to ask your driver questions about their hours and the pick up locations.
There is no mini bar in the rooms, however, they have put in for a liquor license and should be selling alcohol by the time summer gets here.
Their parking fee is $22 per vehicle per night. which is really not too bad. If you drove to places, you would have to pay for parking and would end up paying way more. So if you park in their parking lot, you should use their shuttle.
No, they don't have a bar, just a place to have breakfast
