I didn't end up needing their services, because my issue was electrical, but the customer service by Cushing and Sons, Kate, specifically, in assessing the situation, was superb. She was patient, helpful and professional. Excellent customer service.

After several days without water, I contacted Cushing and they were at my home within an hour. Jed and Andrew installed a new pump and new wiring in my well. These two young men were polite and hard-working and really knew their trade: hard to find these qualities in the younger generation these days! Before they left they took the time to clean all of the water filters in my house and made sure everything worked perfectly. They were able to answer any questions I had. I highly recommend these guys and I'll call them again if needed.

We hired Cushing & Sons twice: first to install a well pump for an agricultural greenhouse, and then again when we needed a residential well fracked and the pump and pressure tank replaced. On both occasions we were impressed by co-owner Bart Cushing's knowledge, frankness, and willingness to thoroughly explain the pros and cons of various options. He returns calls to his office promptly--that's rare, and much appreciated. We've met three of the workers the company employs (one of them Bart's daughter), and they have all been on time, knowledgeable, professional, communicative, and willing to go above and beyond to provide exceptional service. But beyond all this, it's been a real pleasure to work with a business that so clearly values and respects its employees and subcontractors (who in turn have nothing but good things to say about Cushing & Sons) as well as its customers. We would gladly hire them again if needed, and will recommend them to friends and neighbors.

Being without water is every parent's nightmare, so when our house suddenly stopped drawing water from our well, we panicked. Bart Cushing sent a team out the following morning and they worked hard through a pretty torrential downpour to fix what turned out to be a relatively common broken piece inside our well. Dwight & Kate were an amazing, intelligent crew and I know that, had the issue been more complex, they had the expertise and knowledge to fix it. They worked as quickly as conditions allowed and I watched them the entire time: this is hard work, folks! They answered all of our questions patiently and we felt comfortable that our water was once again safe, once it started flowing. Can't recommend them enough.

Should be there by 8:30am. First job of the day. Sorry for delay answering.
Often times this is because of a malfunctioning pressure switch, a failing pressure tank, where the air from the tank goes back into the water causing air spurts, a leaking check valve or bad pitless adapter, or, seldom, natural CO2 in the water.
