This is a fun place that I highly recommend. It’s casual and cool. In 1981 Tom Nicchi converted a basement space below his restaurant (named “The Deli Works”) into a comedy club just as the stand-up comedy “boom” was hitting. He named it “The Comedy Works” and it was an immediate success with shows hosted seven nights a week. Often times the club would sell out and guests would sit in the stair well just to listen to the shows. During the 1980s & 1990s comics like Robin Williams, Jerry Seinfeld, Dennis Leary and Chris Rock all performed at The Comedy Works. After 25 years Tom handed over the reigns to his son Tommy in 2006, who relocated the club to Broadway in Saratoga Springs. In addition to the regular club operation (open 52 weeks a year), The Comedy Works now presents theater shows across the country, runs a talent management division, and produces stand-up comedy tv/film specials. The Comedy Works, now in our 38th year, is widely recognized as one of the best small clubs in America.

Solid old school stand up venue. Dinner and comedy? Do it. Is the food amazing? Hell no, but is it worth the $15 upsell? Hell yes.

Hi Gary - You can sign up right up until the mic starts at 9pm.
Yes
Nope never is anymore
Technically I don't think so, but I would research the comic first to be sure of the content of their material.
