Have you ever experienced having your donations rejected? After reviewing their online page for what is accepted, all of my items fell in that category of acceptance. However, immediately I was informed at the door that my donations were not accepted because I have a dog at home. They said they cannot accept my donations because of a liability when it comes to dog hair and allergies? I have never had an issue like this come up before. Someone had recommended donating to this organization, and I love their cause, but I can say I am pretty disappointed by the way the staff handled this.

Had more than I had gone in for so I saved a stop to another place. Great low pricing on useful items. I'm amazed at the bargains here!

So we made several phone calls to this organization asking them if we could make some donations of baby beds and some tables all in perfectly great condition with pamphlets and hardware. No chairs for the table! We pull up to the store and a lady tells us to go to the bay. After pulling up to the bay a gentleman who is in the parking lot tells us we are in the wrong spot to come to him. So we are about to move and the lady who told us to go to the bay opens up the door. I tell the guy, who I now know is the manager, that she told us to go to the bay and he says your dropping off pictures you need to come here, we tell him it's just one picture the rest is furniture so he proceeds to change his demeanor to that of a little frustration as I'm trying to communicate with him. I asked him to not be so impatient and pushy with us that we're just trying to make a donation, now I can tell he's starting to get a little aggravated, and proceeds to say well pictures or not I need you to come down here. Now we get in the truck to move it and the young lady at the bay says to us I'm not sure what he's doing so go over there. When we get to him he automatically discounts anything we have to not wanting it even though it's all in great condition, he didn't even look at it. Telling us we don't take tables without chairs. Except I see a bunch of chairs in the store without tables. I'm super disappointed in this organization as this is a place of hope for people where they can come and find quality stuff at a fair if not close to free price due to donations. What a shame this gentleman, Steve Todd the manager, let his emotions take over his decisions to take quality furniture. I asked him not to be so impatient with us, and didn't understand why he wasn't taking to the fact that we were making completely good donations to an organization that should be community focused. WHAT A SHAME

Did you even read what you just wrote PEB? A KID is offering to volunteer and you treat him like an idiot? What a tool.
Call Habitat on Recker Hwy in winter haven, they could tell you
I have never seen any there but iy wouldn't hurt to call and ask
Doesn't hurt to ask and see what they can do or who they recommend
I know they are hiring, not sure for what tho
The pickups that we do at Four Lakes depend on when they're scheduled you would have to give the store a call and and speak with our schedule her about when we'd be able to pick up your donation
