Everyone here is so wonderful. My Bailey is very nervous going to the vet. Dr. McNesby and our tech Laura showed her so much extra kindness to make her comfortable. All of my concerns were addressed in detail and we came up with a great plan of action. I will always recommend Hickory Vet to anyone who is looking for a great local vet for their furbabies!!

My dog was terrified of our previous vet, but at our first appointment here, the staff went out of their way to help her feel comfortable. They got down on the floor with her, gave her treats and affection, and were very patient with her and my two toddlers who were with me. My dog was definitely warming up to them and hopefully future vet appointments will be less stressful and traumatizing for her, thanks to their warmth and kindness.

We recently moved to the area and had to find a veterinarian right away due to my senior dog having new onset problems. I called, thinking I probably couldn't get her in since we were new clients, and they fit her in the same week! They have since seen our other pets, and have taken the time with each one, even taking the time to explain options for our cat (we've been trying to get his problem diagnosed for two years--and they accurately diagnosed him!). They take their time with my high-anxiety dog, helping him gain trust and confidence. I highly recommend this clinic--they are caring and knowledgeable.

Our four-legged critters always have such a positive experience with Hickory! Dr McNesby is our favorite, but we have seen all the doctors, I believe, and have had nothing but positive experiences with each staff member. We have two big dogs that are both on necessary medication, an insano cat, and a sweet little kitten, and they are all greeted with warmth and affection and treated with kindness and respect in a timely manner. Medications are filled as needed with no problem, and they can always get the aptly named Frankenstein in in a flash for a nail trim. We will continue to bring our pets to Hickory for years to come!

How is the overnight Kenneling? what do the kennels look like

Nice and clean. We get a large kennel so our two standard poodles can stay together. They are very accommodating.

My family got a cat from stranger and not been neutered yet and I want to have her neutered since her stress levels is rising to the point where she is starting to lose hair and keeps vomiting up her food but I dont have any paperwork or license?
