The day they were going to shut off the water the tech decided to warn me thank goodness. I tried all day that day to make an account for my business and couldn’t on the app and the site! The documents wouldn’t upload! I showed up to their location before close and they were closed and gone already for the day. So showed up the next morning at 8am and we weren’t allowed in! So went through the drive thru they did say I had everything and it was good to go but what a horrible and stressful experience! Covid is not an issue anymore people you should be helping people better then this!

Not sure why they require an app to start service.... Would be easier if they just had a webpage to start service. I missed the part where you need to needed to enroll in autopay AND paperless billing to waive the initial fee. I had enrolled the autopay as soon as the email came in, but missed the paperless billing. They would not waive the $200 fee.... for my $10 /month water bill..... There needs to be more choices than a monopolistic utility company.

Thieves!!. They ask you to set up auto bill pay and assist you through it the they expect you to call to inform them otherwise the still hit you with a large bill on your first month. I just moved to Florida and set up a new account. I was just charge $214.00 . I live alone and spend most time sleeping as I work night. I asked if they would refund they told m e it would be a credit on my next bill only. Big inconvenience during the holidays. The excuse is that they have many customers.

NOTICE TO LEE COUNTY UTILITIES CUSTOMERS Lee County Utilities will be temporarily converting its disinfectant process from chloramines to free chlorine residual from May 3 through May 24, 2021. This is a routine measure that is typical for water utilities using chloramines as its primary disinfectant. Anyone who uses a kidney dialysis machine at home should contact his or her equipment supplier so the proper filtering equipment may be installed. Tropical fish or aquatic animal owners should contact a local tropical fish store for appropriate pretreatment of water before adding water to tanks. Customers may notice a temporary change in the taste, odor, and color of the water, which is not harmful. Again, this is a routine measure to ensure our customers of clean, safe potable water. Please feel free to contact our office during regular business hours, 8am to 4:30pm at 239-533-8845, if you have any questions.
Call them up.
You have to go to 1500 Monroe Street and get a permit so they can make these arrangements in your home.
It all depends on your area at least to me the water was - $ 245.00 - deposit And the light they give you different options or pay a deposit of either - $ 350 or If you put the automated payments you do not pay the deposit you would only pay the consumption of the light.
