I'm generally on a "brief" 30 minute hold. Hours are only during working hours, meaning I have Banfield's obnoxious automated voice blasting in my ear while I try to work but also stay in the queue. Staff is nice, but unfortunately there are not enough of them. If you go to pick up your pet, allocate about an hour (if you live within 5 minutes) to scoop them up, because chances are, there will be several people whose checkout takes about 15-20 min ahead of you. Banfield prides itself on being modern, however there is no automated self check-in or check-out process. If they invested any time or money in this, time wasted would be minimized. I use them solely because they are my closest option.

The receptionist staff is usually rude and unhelpful. Scheduling an appoint by phone is impossible, and if they ever answer, they are usually rude. I pay for a comprehensive care plan and it is a complete waste of money, but I can’t pull out until the plan ends. The vet care I have received is deficient and I have to pay extra money for that. I only take my dog to vaccines and deworming, which are included in the plan. The cost of the plan doesn’t worth the vaccines cost. It is more a scam than anything.

We LOVE Banfield! Everyone is super nice and make things personal. The doctors understand cost issues and work with you to find the most affordable solution. We are happy for them to be our regular vets after trying 4+ other clinics in the area over the years

Always a pleasure to deal with the folks here. They are caring and considerate Very good with your Fur Babies! And actually cheaper than a LOT of private Vets in the area. I Know, I checked. That actually shocked me. This is Gizmo, a 14 year old YORKIE. He was just there yesterday due to a tummy issue. They again, took good care of my baby!

No, but you can call us during hospital hours for urgent care advice. Depending on the situation, we can help provide a referral for urgent care, specialty providers, or to an emergency hospital. During non-hospital hours, please contact your local emergency hospital.

My cat was sent home with a prescribed dose was 0.5ml every 12hrs. Instead of separating 0.5ml for accurate dosing, they filled the syringe all the way. They should think about how "easy it is" to ACCIDENTLY OVERDOSE AN UNCOMFORTABLE ANIMAL.

What should have happened is they should of separated. 0.5ml in different syringes for her prescribed dose and not be completely careless and lazy about it and fill a whole syringe. One syringes are unpredictable and sometimes stick or squeeze too fast. This was careless on their part. As a kitten mom I'm upset.

Banfield Pet Hospital | Sep 8, 2020

You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?

Banfield Pet Hospital | Sep 8, 2020

Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
