This hiking area at the outer edge of the Black Point Wildlife Drive is the perfect place to get out and stretch your legs, enjoy a stroll to the nature tower and take in this amazing place and observe the variety of wildlife that call it home. There's also a bathroom here.

Great trails. 2 paths but both are good. Winds thru several habitats. Trails were good even after it had rained the day before. Seeing the old NASA railway tracks is a highlight. Lots of orange trees along the trail but they are sour. Don't eat them.

About 2/3 the way through the Black Point wildlife drive you find yourself at a good location to stretch your legs and go explore some walkways and a viewing platform. Be wary of the yellow jackets that have made nests near some of the structures. Give them their space and they won't bother you. There is bathroom facilities here, currently the building is closed but there is a port-a-potty. If it has rained recently the trail can be a little squishy and you might want to ensure you have appropriate foot wear.

This is an amazing trail!! It's in the Black Point Wildlife Drive. Most of the pics, we're taken, from a tower, not to far, from parking lot. The trails, take you all around canals, you are completely surrounded, by water & gorgeous scenery. No shade, best to go, in winter months.
