I bought a bike the yesterday that didn’t have a seat post clamp and I just so happened to show up during their renovation, the guy told me they were closed but as I went to walk away he asked what I needed and didn’t hesitate to to look.. Glad to say they had one and as I was leaving he informed me of an easier way to get my parts, deff. coming back.

Customer service leaves alot to be desired. Sold me a bike in a box. No one would put it together and then told me if I did it myself it would void the warranty. Spent $811 and 2 hours of my day to have to return the item and be told "this is just how it is". Ruined my weekend plans and as someone who belongs to a biking community I will be sure to spread the Awareness. Respone to "owner" WOW. I have to say your response to the lack of action and customer service by your employees definitely falls in line with what I would expect of a person of your caliber considering the name calling. First we did call and your employees directed us to the website to order and told us we could have same day pickup this , and follow closely, is where we were told assembly could be done. Second NEVER once was a voice raised or any typing of knocking at all. I called as requested when I placed the order and spoke to all your employees with respect. I believe I even said sorry to the gentleman to had to carry the box back in. Third name calling is very juvenile and I would THINK be beneath a business owner but then again I have read your response to other low reviews. So this makes sense. I am assuming because I did not just "take the box" as pushed and am voicing my discontent this makes me a "bully". When in fact this makes me a past customer using a platform to make others aware. Fourth never ONCE was it offered to leave the bike for assembly. NOT A SINGLE TIME. I was given the choice of take the box or refund. Had this been offered I would of gladly agreed and we could of avoided this issue. Alas you recieved the low rating because of the lack of action and problem solving by your staff. The employee I first spoke with and I quote said "this is how it is". No solution, no alternative. They seemed bothered in general as I was asking questions about having it put together by another shop. Maybe if you were there and had interacted with me then perhaps you would be aware of what truly transpired verse whatever version you were told. Also you yourself may benefit from some customer service training before hoping onto these reviews and responding. Some restraint and self awareness would probably go along way.

Went to JR to buy my wife a bike for our anniversary. Upon arrival I found that we would not be allowed to enter the store due to renovations. Paper on door directed me to use the live inventory website to order the bike. I called to make sure the bike was in stock and available for pickup, I was informed once I made the order it would be processed and they would have it available for pickup. When we arrived back at the store they opened the door and pushed a box of bike out the door. We explained we did not want a box of bike but a bike that was assembled as to not have warranty void by manufacture. We were told that they could not provide such service and box of bike is what we get and we could find another bike shop to assemble. We asked for a refund as this was not our intended experience of going to a bike shop.

Hi Kimberly, Actually we do not sell any used bikes or equipment of any kind. Occasionally we have some scratch'n'dent items, but nothing we would consider used. Additionally, we do not buy used items from people looking to offload what they already have. Hope this clears things up.
