While new furniture, and fresh black top in the parking lot yet again is I'm sure high on everyone's list of important issues the Veterans have to face daily, my poor husband can't get medicine prescribed by the specialist that the VA sent him to. They actually told him he would have to continue with daily headaches and migraines, instead of paying for hus meds. That's what your tax dollars pay for!

Apparently all vets are retired, old men. Women are vets too and shocker; some of us still have full time jobs. When I have to take a day off work to drive to Cape Coral from Naples to have a mammogram because I don’t qualify to have it done at the local radiology facility, that’s a problem. Don’t even get me started on the disgraceful “care” they provide females for GYN. I’m horrified.

First off, No I don't work there. Granted we were there for 6 hours yesterday, but I have to say: I received outstanding care. Everyone I had contact with was great. From getting transferred into the Florida system (I'm in the NYS VA system), to the caring Doctor that took care of me, I couldn't be happier. I was stunned at how quickly they got me through all the testing they did. These people really care for the veterans they take care of. Thank you All.

I’ve always had good luck here and most of the technicians were friendly and caring. I went in yesterday for ankle and back problems about 2 pm and they weren’t too busy. I had 2 X-rays , consulted a doctor, and received an ankle brace in under 2 hours! I love this place! Much better than at home.

Are the COVID vaccine shots available at your location. Am I eligible for a shot being a veteran survivor?
Very wll could be. Im a marine desert storm vet and qualify with no co pay. However my brother served around the same time as you....he does not go to the va either....has nothimg to do with how much money you make....so yes it is true not all veterans qualify to get health care at the va and some have co pays were others do not....hope that helps
When was the last time you had a MEAN test? M maybe your financial status improved, and you are getting billed now? Go in and see Patient advocate to help you with bill
You would have to contact your primary care provider within the VA, in order to try and get that accomplished.
You will need an appointment to be seen. No emergency medical services are available here. In order to register, bring a government issued ID (best practice is a drivers license and your military ID), a copy of your DD-214 and whatever medical records you were able to take with you
Yes they can
Thursdays
If you have already established yourself with a primary care physician, then you already situated. If you have not established yourself with a primary care physician then you need to do this, by calling the VA and setting up medical appointment.
Yes if you are a veteran you're automatically going to get one call make an appointment
Hello , what is your location?call 911the va is closed for the weekend. Please call 911
No, you have to go to the airforce base in Tampa. Call Mcdill afb to make an appointment. On the day of your appointment make sure you arrive early. It's best to be on line by 0600 hrs, because the ID section has a cut off time. Good luck, sorry for your loss.
I am a DAV life member since 1978. Is there a DAV center in the Naples, Ft. Myers or Bonita Springs, Florida areas. I would like to sit down with a DAV advisor for about 15 minutes to find out what my VA benefit options are during my senior years.
